Paint Correction Training is a flexible, hands-on session designed to provide real-world instruction based on your workflow and experience level.
You will practice on salvaged hoods till you get comfortable to work directly with real vehicles, using a variety of polishers, pads, and compounds under guided instruction.
Hands-on machine training: Practice using dual-action and rotary polishers while learning how to correct common paint defects.
Real-world guidance: Instructors walk you through each stage of the correction process, focusing on technique, consistency, and proper results.
Professional products & tools: Train with high-quality pads, compounds, and machines used daily by professional detailers. Using name brands such as RUPES, Auto Magic and Car Brite.
Defect removal & gloss restoration: Learn how to safely remove swirls, scratches, and other paint defects while bringing back depth, clarity, and shine.
Certificate of Completion: Each participant receives a Certificate of Completion from Guard Sales Co. after finishing the course.

Our Paint Correction Training does not follow a fixed schedule or set length. Session length depends on the number of participants, the depth of instruction requested, and how much hands-on practice students want. Sessions typically range from a few hours to a full day, depending on how much detail and practice time is needed.

This training is offered on-demand, not as a fixed scheduled class. Sessions are typically held one-on-one or in small groups and can take place at your shop or at our location. Training is scheduled based on interest and availability, and may occasionally be combined into a group session if there’s enough demand.

Do I need to bring anything?

No — all tools, machines, pads, and products are provided. We recommend wearing a shirt or clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. Aprons and safety glasses will be provided. For safety, please avoid wearing hanging jewelry and ensure long hair is tied back.

Most of our Paint Correction Training sessions are free for new or existing customers. We enjoy the opportunity to teach, demonstrate proper techniques, and showcase the quality of the products we offer. In some cases, there may be a cost depending on location or materials used, but most classes are provided at no charge.
